Paperless operating manuals are becoming more important!

Electronic media are becoming more important as the world of work becomes more digital. Technical documentation is also taking on new forms. groninger's goal is to provide information on the technology and operation of the machines and systems to its customers quickly, simply and flexibly.

In addition to the traditional paper documentation, we are now providing documentation on electronic media (CD-ROM, local server and workstations) and online documentation.

Reasons in favor of using electronic documentation to replace or supplement print media are:

• Fast availability (the entire operating manual is available as an electronic document)
• Easier distribution(the electronic operating manual can be printed at any time)
• Integration options (the documentation is used at locations where paper is not wanted, e.g. at machines in a clean room)
• Save space and faster access with better search functions (the operator can use cross references and hyperlinks to jump directly to a chapter)
• Multimedia options (complete descriptions are linked to videos or illustrations. Zoom functions allow detailed examination of illustrations and photos.)
